June 2010 Service Changes |
YOU ARE HERE: Home > Subway > June 2010 Service Changes
There are three changes occurring as of June 27, 2010 to the New York City subway system:
|
For service to stations previously served by the V line, use the new orange M line (see below). For service to stations previously served by the W line, use the R line. For stations between Queensboro Plaza and Astoria, Queens, the Q line has been extended to make these stops (in addition to the N line trains, which currently serve these stations). |
G trains will terminate at Court Sq, Queens and will not continue north to Queens Blvd. stations. G train service previously extended to Forest Hills - 71 Av, Queens during rush hours. |
M line trains no longer travel into Brooklyn during rush hours. Instead, they travel up the 6th Avenue line in Manhattan making all local stops. Trains follow the route of the discontinued V line from Broadway - Lafayette to Forest Hills - 71 Av, Queens. M line trains operate on weekdays only (except late nights). During weekends and late nights, shuttle trains operate between Middle Village - Metropolitan Av and Myrtle Av only. |
The pages at njnyrails.com will be updated to include these service changes at the time they take effect.
